Current Opportunities

We're Hiring: Nine Circles Associate

UK HQ · Full-time, permanent · Salary negotiable, depending on experience

Budo is the heart of Nine Circles.  We're looking for someone from the UK Kendo, Iaido or wider Budo community to join our small team at our UK HQ — someone who doesn't just want a job, but wants to be genuinely invested in what we do. This is a hands-on role at its core. You'll be processing orders, answering customer enquiries, picking, packing, checking product quality and helping run our warehouse and fulfilment operations day to day. From there, there's real room to grow into the diverse areas only a small business can offer.   Critical customer relationships, events, photography, ecommerce, website management and representing us and what we do in the community in everything you undertake.

This role would really suit a new graduate or similar candidate, looking for an opportunity to learn hands on in a small business, gain skill and experience and grow into an independent and well rounded member of the workforce.

Salary is negotiable depending on the skills and experience you bring to the job and your aptitude to grow into different roles in time.
  • A genuine passion for budo — and for growing, both personally and with the business
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty — this is a practical role
  • Good with people, and confident learning new digital tools and processes
  • Able to relocate to, or already based near, our UK HQ — this role is on-site, five days a week
  • Willing to travel for EU operations and events across the UK and internationally
  • Experience in warehousing or fulfilment
  • Experience working in a small business
  • Kendo or wider budo experience
  • Photography
  • Customer service
  • Business administration
  • A starting salary to be agreed based on your skills and aptitude.
  • A tight-knit, supportive team where you'll quickly become a trusted part of how we operate
  • A genuinely varied role that grows with you — the more you bring, the more scope there is to take on
  • The chance to help shape and grow our biggest market, alongside a community you already know

Send an introduction and your CV to [email protected]. We're looking to fill this role as soon as the right person is able to join, so don't wait to get in touch.
