The 23rd European Jodo Championships brought together dedicated practitioners from many countries for three days of spirited competition, dan examinations, and cultural exchange.

The host city, Zielona Góra, welcomed athletes, coaches, referees, and fans with warm hospitality and high organisational standards.

Nine Circles were proud to be able to contribute to the event, offering prize support across the categories.

Competitors demonstrated exceptional technical precision and budo spirit across all divisions — from Mudan to Rokudan, and as always the thrilling Team Competition was exceptional.

Poland, as host nation, performed especially well:

Gold medals: Aleksandra Jurgas (Shodan), Agnieszka Krawczyk (Yondan).

Strong podium presence in Nidan, Godan, Rokudan categories.

Second place in the Godan division and multiple Kantosho distinctions.
