31st European Kendo Championship

Posted On: 1 June 2022

Last weekend we were present at the 31st European Kendo Championships, in Frankfurt. After such a long hiatus because of the Covid Pandemic, it felt great to be able to see the international Kendo community again, meeting old friends and making new ones.

We were able to see amazing fights! Even though some countries had to deal with longer lockdowns and many months without being able to practice, you could feel all the spirit and effort put in every fight. Congratulations to all the competitors for their performances!

The GB team came back with amazing results, winning Silver in Juniors, Ladies and Men´s individuals! Congratulations to Toru Adeyinka, Rosanna Ogle and Konradas Rukas. And Harrison Fry was also awarded with Fighting Spirit in the Junior Teams category.
