Lovingly crafted from high class fabric with classic Japanese motif's, these Furoshiki form part of our limited run of Moyo Bukuro. Thought to date back to the Nara period (AD 710 to 794), Furoshiki are a highly traditional way to wrap and carry clothing and other small items. Formed from a hemmed square of fabric perfectly sized to bundle a full set of clothing and accessories, Furoshiki can be tied in myriad ways, an art-form in its own right.

Traditional Taka pattern – In Japan, hawks have long been considered symbols of warriors, representing strength, power, and the ability to fly high. It was a favorite theme of Japanese warlords during the era of civil wars.

Large Size – at 100x100cm, this wrap can easily accommodate a range of volumes, tying more tightly for smaller items and less compactly for bigger bundles.
